Responsibilities

• Ability to manage the QA delivery at a high level but also be hands-on during specific situations.
• Ability to manage all aspects of the QA life cycle and bring in best practices across disciplines like functional testing, automation testing, performance testing, user interface testing, security testing, etc.
• Guide the team on automation choosing of test scenarios, creating automation scripts, reviewing scripts, etc.
• Developing multiple test cases and creating appropriate testing environments for checking a product.
• Drive the QA aspect of sprint for the respective teams, and help mitigate any risks proactively that may impact the committed sprint velocity
• Create and Review Test metrics (# of defects, slippages, etc. ) on a regular basis and provide measures/plans to improve upon the product quality.
• Involved in different types of functional (UI, and API) and nonfunctional (Performance, and Security) testing using various automation tools, frameworks, and technologies.
• Evaluate different test automation tools and help in streamlining.
• Working with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
  
  

Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on experience with Integration, Performance and functional testing, test planning, and test designing for systems.
• QA delivery experience preferably from a consumer tech background.
• Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools like JIRA, and test management tools like JIRA, testlink, zephyr, etc.
