origins
Nipun leads product at Venture Highway. Prior to joining VH, Nipun has been a 2x entrepreneur and has held senior product roles in tech startups like Paytm, Policybazaar & Nium.
He founded RecruiterGrid, a user/candidate profiling platform, which he successfully exited to Paytm in 2018. He also started a marketplace for 1:1 professional advice in 2013 to help first-time founders with idea validation, product, GTM, sales & more.
He has worked on products in the FinTech, EdTech & HRTech space. Nipun is a B.Tech from IIT Roorkee.
why seed investing
Nipun, being a founder, always wanted to understand the VC perspective & their way of assessing founders, markets & products.
After talking to the partners, VH seemed like the right fit to Nipun. Also, the opportunity to use AI to productise/automate the different aspects of a VCs job seemed like the right intersection between investing & product.
